Annual FarmFest at The Urban Farm at Stapleton to Feature Activities for the Whole Family

The Urban Farm at Stapleton announces its Annual FarmFest to be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 11 am – 3 pm.  The Farm is located at 10200 Smith Road (just West of Havana at Smith Road).

​There will be activities for all ages, burgers ‘n brats, beer, wine & other beverages, music and 23 acres of goats, sheep, cattle, horses, chickens, the new Gompers Greenhouse, & information on year-round courses and activities for kids & families.
 
Activities include

• Fairy gardens
• Make a small footprint salad
• Riding demonstrations
• Learn to make a homemade pizza with homegrown ingredients
• Chicken agility (whaaaat?)
• Craft vendors
• Bouncy House
• Crafts for all ages

Prices are $35 for families and $10 for individuals.
 
The Urban Farm is a working educational farm in the heart of Denver. The Urban Farm inspires excitement for learning through practical work experience in a farm setting while fostering respect, responsibility, curiosity, caring, and grit.
