Mayor Hancock and Council President Albus Brooks released a list of infrastructure improvement projects to be included on the November ballot on July 12th. The list includes 460 projects in every area of the city and is valued at $937 million. Without raising tax rates, these projects will allow us to make essential repairs to our streets, parks and recreation centers, police and fire stations, and libraries and cultural centers. The next step in the process involves City Council holding two public “committee of the whole” meetings July 17 and 24 to review each project with city staff.
