Openings on Denver Water's Citizens Advisory Committee

Denver Water’s Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is a 10-member volunteer committee that advises Denver Water staff and the Board of Water Commissioners on a variety of issues including rate changes, conservation activities, recreation issues, communication to customers, construction projects and other activities. This year Denver Water has two volunteer positions which will become vacant at the end of 2018. The CAC will review applications for replacements at their meeting on October 17 and will hold interviews for the two positions in mid- November.

To qualify for the Denver representative, an applicant must be a resident of the city and county of Denver, a Denver Water customer in their private residence, and must have been a resident of Colorado for at least five years.
 
To qualify for the West Slope representative, in addition to being a resident of Colorado for at least five years, an applicant must reside in either Mesa, Delta, Montrose or Garfield county.
 
The positions are three-year terms that would run from January 2019 through December 2021. Usually the CAC meets once a month at Denver Water’s administrative campus. If you know anyone who would be interested in applying for the CAC please feel free to send them the link to the application. ​
