The City and County of Denver and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District will host a public scoping meeting on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 to gather public input on ecosystem restoration solutions for degraded habitat along portions of the South Platte River in Denver, Colorado. The proposed project area includes approximately 1.8 miles of the South Platte River from West Harvard Avenue downstream (north) to West Mississippi Avenue.
The meeting will run from 5:30 – 7:30 pm with a formal presentation starting at 6:00 pm. The time before and after the presentation will be an open house style where people will have the opportunity to speak with the Corps and city/county officials about the project.
The meeting will be located at Fleming Mansion, 1510 S. Grant Street in Denver.
