Public Safety Career Fair this Thursday!

The Society of Hispanic Human Resource Professionals along with the City & County of Denver Office of Public Safety, Nicoletti-Flater & Associates, ARCpoint Labs, La Ley Latino Law Enforcement Association, University of Colorado Denver/Public Affairs present a Public Safety Expo & Career Fair, Thursday, February 23, 2017, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Denver Police Protective Association, 2105 Decatur Street.
 
Job seekers should be ready to interview and attend breakout sessions (optional): 
  • The Role of Police & Public Safety Psychology in the Screening of Public Safety Applicants – Dr. Sara Garrido, PsyD, Nicoletti-Flater & Associates – 12 noon
  •  Why it’s best not to lie about your past – Kelly Kirwan, ARCpoint Labs/Amanda Cruz, Arapahoe County Sheriff – 11am
  • Why choose a career in public safety? What’s in it for me? – Chief Gary Wilson/Roberto Pablo, Denver Sheriff/Tyrone Abeyta, Sr. HR Recruiter,                                      
    City & County of Denver
     - 1pm 
Public safety representatives from Denver Police, Sheriff, Fire, 911, Douglas County Sheriff, West Metro Fire Protection District, South Metro Fire Rescue, Arapahoe County Sheriff, Arvada Police, City of Golden Police, Aurora Police & Fire, City of Westminster Fire & Police, Falck Ambulance, Thornton Fire, Longmont Fire, Jefferson County Sheriff, Larimer County Sheriff, Black Hawk Police, AMR, Commerce City Police, Wheatridge Police, Colorado Department of Public Safety-Homeland Security & Highway Patrol, FBI, DEA, TSA, Colorado Army National Guard, and U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement will be onsite to offer information and job opportunities for people interested in public safety including administration & maintenance.
