![]() The Society of Hispanic Human Resource Professionals (SHHRP) – is excited to announce its second ever Public Safety Job Fair and “Heart our Community Heroes” When: Thursday, February 23, 2017, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Where: Denver Police Protective Association, 2105 Decatur St. (north of Mile High Stadium). The Denver PPA is centrally located with access to public transportation bordered by Colfax Ave., Federal Blvd., and I-25. “The New Year promises a fresh start and we expect an exceptionally high number of Job Fair participants given the timing of “Heart our Community Heroes” and the special focus of this event on public safety opportunities,” says SHHRP President LeRoy Romero. “We are inviting exhibitors interested in identifying the best candidates for police, sheriff, firefighter, EMS, security and the administrative and maintenance jobs that support public safety.” Public safety representatives from Denver Police, Sheriff, Fire, 911, Douglas County Sheriff, Mountain View Fire Protection, Arapahoe County Sheriff, Arvada Police, Aurora Police, Golden Police, City of Westminster Fire & Police, Falck Ambulance, Thornton Fire, Jefferson County Sheriff, American Medical Response, Colorado Department of Public Safety, FBI and TSA will be onsite to offer information and job opportunities for people interested in public safety. SHHRP focuses on inclusivity in the workplace, and people of all ages, race, gender and diverse backgrounds are encouraged to explore this exciting opportunity.
