Upcoming Road Restrictions

8/27/2018

Additional road restrictions in the Sanderson Gulch area will begin on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 due to the upcoming Grandoozy Music Festival.

Overland Park (North of Evans):
The eastbound curbside lane on Florida Avenue between S. Platte River Drive and Santa Fe Drive will be closed from 8:30am until 3:30pm from Wednesday, September 5 to Friday, September 7.  The eastbound curbside lane will also be closed the weekend of September 8 and 9.  On Monday, September 10 at 8:30am through Tuesday, September 18 at 3:30pm, Florida Avenue will be closed to all non-event traffic.  On Wednesday, September 19 Florida Avenue will reopen, but the eastbound curbside lane of Florida Avenue will remain closed.

AquaGolf customers will still be able to access the AquaGolf facility from Santa Fe Drive except on September 14 through 16, when AquaGolf will be closed.

The southbound curbside lane on Santa Fe Drive between S.Platte River Drive and Jewell Avenue will be closed beginning Friday, September 14 at 11:00am through Monday, September 17 at 6:00am for the UBER/LYFT pick-up and drop-off lane.

Jewell Avenue, on the south side of Overland Golf Course, will have restricted access into the Overland neighborhood all day from September 14 through 16.
Galapagos Street and Huron Street (between Evans and Jewell Avenues) will have restricted access into the Overland neighborhood on September 14 through 16, from 8am to midnight or until the nightly exit from the festival has cleared.

Ruby Hill Park
Ruby Hill Park is reserved for festival staff parking from September 14 through 16. The park will be open to the public for walk-in access, but there will be no public parking inside the park.

Other Residential Areas:
Barricades and signs may be placed at the entrances to some surrounding neighborhoods in an effort to deter event parking. Local residents and guests, neighborhood businesses and their customers will be able to access their properties. However, if you find a vehicle blocking your driveway, you should call the Community Hotline for its removal.

Grandoozy has set up a Community Hotline that will be available prior to the event for any inquiries about the festival. During the festival weekend, the Community Hotline will be staffed for immediate assistance. Prior to the festival, you can email us at the community relations address below.
