The COP Shop is a place for neighbors to pickup information on neighborhood safety, city services, police issues and graffiti removal. Our District 3 police officers will have their own office in the COP Shop to write reports, meet with citizens or just take a break. The police presence also provides additional safety for the entire shopping center. Police officers will have access to the facility on a 24/7 basis.
Volunteers will handle the day to day operations and assist the public with most requests and information. Volunteers are part of the Police Department (VIPS) Volunteers in Police Service. They have been trained by the Police Department and many of them are graduates of the Denver Police Department Citizens' Police Academy. To become a COP Shop Volunteer contact Merce Lea, 720-210-4056, meredithzml@aol.com The Broadway COP Shop is located at 487 S Broadway, #300. Between GNC and Radio Shack in The Broadway Marketplace at Alameda and Broadway. Comments are closed.
